Arts Menors Costa Brava association: Salvador, Martí, Toni, Isaac, Climent, Francesc and Joan
The brand of the small-scale fishers of l'Escala and l'Estartit, who fish with traditional low-impact gear.
Hvordan de produserer og selger
They fish from small boats with a variety of traditional gear. Through a pilot programme authorised by the Government of Catalonia, they made the first sale at the port itself, with sanitary control at origin and QR-code traceability, at a fair price for the fisher. The pilot's administrative limits have left the project on hold. We explain it in our Food Report on small-scale fishing.
